Where did I start to ski? Chopok, Slovakia
Before I continue the History blogs, let's take a break and relax a bit, and learn the beautiful part of Slovakia.
When I was in the second grade of the gymnasium, I was 16 years old. That Winter we went together to Slovakia. We went with a coach, that means bus. And we had our P.E. teacher with us, who was a basketballl coach as well. It is funny to use the same word with two menaings in one paragraph.
It was my first time to try out skiing.
We already went to ski an the same day, when we started the journey.
How is ti possible?
As Hungary and Slovakia are neighbour countries.

Chopok is in the middle. So Debrecen- Budapest would be that time around 3-4 hours. That is why we went from Debrecen to Miskolc, than then from there we used the higways in Slovakia.
So in the afternoon we had some time to try out the skiing.
As I said it was my first time to ski, but we had really good teachers with us.
So everyone was able to the basic skiing in a few hours.
Next day, we were allowed to go up already a montain, thta had RED sign.
Nah, the weather was really interesting, as it was super foggy, so we could see maximum 5 m far...
Plus the snow was ice.
I tried come down on the montain very slowly in those situations. But another guy, who was a year younger than me, decided to come down in snowball. He also just studied to ski on the previous afternoon.
He hitted 7-8 kids from Slovakia, plus their teachers... he broke his leg...
That was the skiing for him.
Me I spent another 2 hours kind of to finish till the end of the montain... It was a big Philosyopy class for me... thinking about the meaning of life, if I will survive, if another crazy first time skiier will hit me as well.
My teacher finished the support at the accident and passed me like 5 times to check on me, if I am still on the montains, or what :D
There was a point, around the 3/4 down, when he gave up... and said, just come and say hi, when you are done :D :D
